Is it 6? I'll take your word for it, I'm pretty sure the 3 line breaks and 1 try assist is right though?

Anyway this is where you and others miss the point. Every fullback in the comp will make errors at the back.

What balances it up is that they are usually their teams best attacking players, Mini isn't he is a terrible player in attack.

That's why when he has those shockers like he did against the Warriors, Raiders and Bulldogs it kills us and he becomes a liability.

Like I have said 3 times now last night was a good game but by Mini's standards.

I mean would that be a "great" game by Inglis, Slater, Hayne, Dugan, Stewart, Norman, Boyd, Barba, Robinson, Locke and others standards?

I think this is the point many are missing. Even SKD had a good game to his standard last night but he would be in the bottom three centres in the game at present. Same as Mini at fullback.

Next year some of these guys will be jizzing their panties when they see what RTS will do given the ball Mini gets in attack.

It seems the truth has stung you a bit here.

I am jizzing at the thought of Mini retiring this year.

Even at his current age, Mini is better than Norman, Locke and on a par with the slightly overhyped Reece Robinson. The other guys are superstars, almost universally in their primes. An unfair comparison.

You don't need a superstar in every position. And we don't need Mini to be an attacking genius anymore ... that's what we have SBW, Maloney, Friend, Jennings, RTS and Pearce for. They provide the attack.

I've been critical of Mini a few times this year but he's been sensational the past couple of weeks, proving extremely safe and reliable at the back. His pick up on the half volley last night was amazing and perhaps saved us the game. It's time people gave him credit for his good work.

I personally would put RTS at fullback and Mini on the wing. But our super coach obviously doesn't think it is time to make such a move so im willing to trust his judgement. And credit to Mini for not forcing Robbo's hand by playing quality football throughout the year but for the odd clanger.

That's actually all stats do - lie. In a sporting context, anyway.

Suprising as this may seem I actually have met RTS on a couple of occassions even played some touch with and against him in the summer months I know very well what he is capable of

Seriously better than Norman or Locke? I think Norman almost leads the comp in Try Assists and Locke is an outstanding player. Actually if the Warriors are getting Tomkins I would love for us to make a play for either Locke or Fisiahi, they would be great at wing/fullback.

The rest I pretty much agree with. WHEN Mini is safe at the back he is serviceable. When he has those massive blunders at the back he becomes a liability because as you said he isn't there to provide the flashy stuff.

                      I think that's a fair point?

They can lie mate but basic stats like Line Breaks or Try Assists are pretty straight forward.

So do you believe the team would be stronger with RTS at fullback and being involved in some of those sweeping attacks that many teams other fullbacks have a knack of setting up tries but ours hasn't been capable of and usually stuffs up for many years now? I think I also read somewhere that under the high ball, RTS has the best record (or close enough) in the NRL.

I will go with the coach and whoever else selects the team I think this year will be a good learning curve for RTS and he should be ready in every facet of a fullbacks game next year

So you really don't think Mini should be there next year then?
