yeah there's a bit of history between the roosters and knights and the cordner boys.

a few years back, boyd had his jaw broken by a punch from josh ailomai (then with Newcastle) in a 20's game.
boyd's brother dane fired up and was giving a few back to Newcastle for the rest of the game.
dane never really amounted to much, and was signed back by the knights coincidentally at the same time we signed ailomai.

That line he ran off BBQ for the late try was pure class..

I'm so glad he plays for us..
          He went ok.

He is becoming a try scoring machine..2 more tonight against Penrith..

His combo with Pearce is coming along nicely..

And he runs such tough lines..

Your comment got me thinking, before voting went behind doors Cordner was sitting on 9 points with the leader Cronk on 16.

Since then we've played 4 games - Dragons, Sharks, Knights, Panthers and in those games he's scored 1, 2, 1 and 2 tries.

I'm not sure as to which games he got MOTM (someone can fill in for me there) but i assume he would've in the Knights and Dragons games with most likely Maloney taking it tonight but he may have gotten 2 points and Pearce taking it against the Sharks.

Based on those assumptions he may be sitting on around 15-19 points assuming he's gotten 2 MOTM awards and 2 points against Panthers and Sharks

So its very possible he is in the top 5.

Wouldn't mind him scoring First Tryscorer a bit more

                        He's so amazing.

People seem to have mixed reports on his rehab. FWIW, I saw Boyd on game day greeting fans outside the members stand. He was on crutches still. I asked him when he would be back, to which he replied "the game before the grand final".... that is assuming we get that far.

From what others have said, he's zero chance of returning apparently.

                              No Boyd, no Premiership.
