So what, why is everyone so concerned what Gordon Malice thinks. We are coming second and that's the truth, enough said. However, I will say, unless we do beat Souths and Melbourne, we will remain as the underdogs. Its the same deal for Souths, yes they are leading the comp but, they have yet to register a win against Melbourne. The position on the table and sport odds are irrelevant at round 17, it becomes important in the last month of footy, where positions 1 to 4 become the focus. We have beaten Manly and the Dogs, but in fairness, both these teams are no yard stick, Manly have been woeful this year, they had only won 2 from their last 8 as of last Monday, and the Dogs, are not that much better. The real deal are teams like Melbourne and Souths and the rest somewhere in the mix will be a fast finishing Newcastle with the Warriors and with an outside chance the Sharks, of course Manly and Dogs will feature somewhere in the eight.

Anyone here that does not think that Souths is the team to beat at the moment, is kidding themselves. I think there is enough improvement in us to get it done, but we will have to be at our best. The Bunnies are the real deal this year and so are we. Roosters v Rabbits GF is long overdue. It will be our most glorious night or our worst nightmare.

who would people prefer to play in the first week of finals, melb in melbourne/sydney(2v3) or souths in sydney(1v4) scenario 2 may need a few games towards the end of the year to be "tanked".

we take on souths in the las round so a lot depends on the result of that game? if we beat them the phsycological boost will be awesome, if beaten we have the coach to get us back up to take on melbourne, preferably in sydney

I know enough to know if he didn't have some real legendary forwards and real hard workers with him he would have been shown up.
He did bugger all when he was on the field , which was nearly as much as he was on the bench.
I will grant you when he did something it was quite often very good, but thats because he didn't do much work at the other times.

I would love that game to be the start of the end for $ouff$, but it would not bother me if we lost to them as long as we smash them later
