  • Roosters fined for salary cap breech in 2012

    a massive $14,300

one has to wonder how we broke the cap last year, not many players were worth being paid anything

Does that mean the Roosters breached the cap by $14,300 or that the fine was $14,300?
Either way, I'm amazed by that news.

Every year the lower sides with generally more injuries and players leaving and arriving mid season bust the cap.

Generally the better sides have more luck with injury and simply need to use less players.

I'm sure this is 2nd tier cap stuff mostly.

I'm sure Oldman could write a book about it for us. Oh I forgot he retired.

      You know it makes sense.

I think you're right sir backwards man, because if I recall correctly our first grade squad was working well under the cap because we were trying to get Maloney here earlier.

              $14300?

We must have paid bwaiff and extra $100 for every tackle he missed.

Or we must have paid our former defence coach Elliott $1 extra for every try we conceded.

2012 and over the cap, FMD we bet on the wrong horse for sure that year :/

I think we spent that in Botox for Terry Biviano.

I have absolutely no contempt for her. She has done wonders for this club in terms of publicity and prestige. She is a boon to the club and I, at least, want her to continue to champion this club with her fine WAGS program.

Leilua ate too many Steggles chickens in the off-season.
