I think it's a good signing because I think he is at the age now where he understands how things work & I don't think it will be like in the past where Frank has gone missing after signing a new contract.

I'll reserve my judgement on whether it was a good re-signing until the end of the year.
The last time he re-signed he was playing great footy and then tapered off.
He is a match winner when he wants to be so I hope he shows that consistency for the next couple of years.

but I think under Robbo it will be different. Besides we have enough second rowers and locks in depth we dont have to rely on FPN. So if he doesnt pull his weight I see Robbo giving him the flick to Newtown....

But it is a great signing, 2 years is the perfect length. Next year if he drops off, drop him to Newtown and release him a year early if he gets offered a contract elsewhere..

1 year would be the perfect length.. But i also do have faith perhaps FPN will be a lot more consistent under Robbo. We definitely do have a lot more depth in quality in the forwards nowadays. Lots of competition

must say i'm a little surprised that the club is keeping FPN, looking towards next season, we will have a real juggling act for our bench forwards the likes of Guerra/Kennedy/Evans/Lui/Napa/Casty will be fighting for two bench spots, I get this sick feeling that Evans may never get a chance at the Roosters and will be lured away by big dollars and a first grade playing spot.

Probably means LOD won't be retained..

Gotta love Robbo and his ability to keep the talents. Let's just hope he doesn't fade away again, playing great footy atm.

                  Injuries and suspensions.

They will all play a role.

Can't have too much depth, the last month has shown that.

Besides who knows $BW may bail at the end of this season.

                  The FlogPen .

                  You know it makes sense.

Newman tells me FPN will be playing left edge.

Interesting now to see how he plays next game. Usually when he inks a deal, the very next game and onwards he has an solid average of 6 runs for 40m per game . In the last few weeks he has been ok but you would almost bet that he was playing for a contract.
                          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Thought maubs signed for 300k after knocking back 350k at dragons? I understand going for 50k less, but for fpn to take 200k less than what he was offered sounds rediculous, Are these numbers confirmed anywhere?

Maybe the long player compensation will bump him up to 300k.

Hasnt he only signed one contract extension with us so far up until this one??
