Ryles is a moron of the highest calibre that goes missing when the blow totrch is applied. Nick politis signs "Big Names". The only problems is he signs them 4 years after they had a reputation as "Big Names".

    Nick, just sell cars. Please.

Why do people keep referring to his ill discipline ?

His last year in the NRL he was pinged quite a few times, but the seasons before that he was with the average if not below it.

One of the members here posted the stats not too long ago.

Its not just that he gives away penalties, its when he does it, when the game is in the balance and the pressure is on.
If we have to have him I agree, anymore than $150K is a waste of money

Provided his attitude ( ie transit lounge) is in check, he is twice the prop than anyone we have at the moment.

I would welcome him with open arms.

CATALANS DRAGONS’ Australian star Greg Bird is hoping to resurrect his NRL career with Gold Coast Titans next season – if an appeal against a conviction for attacking his girlfriend is successful.

Bird, who joined the Dragons in mid-season after a planned move to Bradford broke down because of a visa refusal, helped them into the second round of the play-offs with a 25-16 win at Wakefield.

The Dragons had hoped to keep stand-off Bird for 2010, but the Titans, who are looking for an experienced half-back, have now moved in.

Bird was sentenced to a minimum eight months’ jail after being convicted of recklessly wounding his girlfriend Katie Milligan last August. His appeal is being heard in late November.

The Dragons, who go to Huddersfield in the preliminary semi-final on Friday, are already losing prop Jason Ryles to Sydney Roosters at the end of the season.
Hull have released football operations manager Jon Sharp after just a year in the job. Former Huddersfield coach Sharp had 12 months left on his contract.

“The club will not have the role of football operations manager next season, therefore Sharp has been released from his contract,” said a club statement.

Sharp said: “I found the role of football operations manager really frustrating. I wasn’t able to influence the team as much as I would have liked.”

Hull KR’s former Great Britain centre Chev Walker will remain in hospital for another week after undergoing surgery on a compound fracture of his left leg, suffered in the 44-8 play-off defeat at his old club Leeds.

St Helens are in the market for a front rower after confirming that prop Jason Cayless is returning to Australia at the end of the season.

Has Jason Ryles signed with us already?? look what it says.

and Jason Cayless returning to Australia wonder if he would come back to Roosters. It's either Cayless or Ryles.

Back in the Day may be the key words there.

Cayless wants on the Parra bandwagon, I reckon he'll take unders and play there too.......Parra's team is going to be ridiculously good next season.

I'll take him if we can get him. Although I don't mind if we don't get him because we've got Martin Kennedy who I think will turn out to be really good next year. He has impressed me whenever he has made the step up to NRL.

                        hmmmm

considered a cat amongst his peers.

Every team targets him for attention as he is seen mentally fragile.
                        Has ability.
                        Gould loves him.
