The only changes I can see (if no SOO injuries) would be RTS in, Maubs to backrow and Liu to drop off.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

      wade graham out = good.
      chad townsend in = bad.

I thought it was poor from the sharks to let townsend go. he is a class above robson. hopefully the combo is a bit off on Saturday night and they are a bit rusty. fifita and lewis will be backing up from a big Wednesday night, and ive heard that lewis is a chance to not even play at all. that backline, barring Gordon, does not scare me one bit. one of the slowest in the comp and the SKD factor will be nullified by Jono Wright.

Mickey Gordon is in career best form, he needs to be marked heavily.

?? He's played one game after being out injured for 5 weeks.

This would have been a danger game in previous seasons, but we're made of sterner stuff this year.

Given they're missing Gallen, Robson, Graham, Ryan etc and they have the worst backline in the comp.....Easts by 20+.

I'm also tipping Jenko, Toups and RTS to have a night out against Feckoff, Mrs Mills, Wrong and Stapler.

Err OK, I saw him play on the weekend & I thought he was nearly MoM, looked really good & if it was his 1st game back after 5 weeks off, then he'll probably be even better 2nd week back, he needs to be heavily marked, he can change a game, IMO.

Sharks have only lost 2 penalty counts all season, expecting an ~10 - 3 count in their favour to keep it close/get them over the line.

Im with you Big Arty. Big Mick Gordon fan. Think he is better then Dugan and three times the player McManus is, would have picked him for origin before those two. Has the added bonus of being an exceptional goal kicker too. Played great in his only origin game and was cruelled by injury this year and last year at origin time.

The Sharks are the opposite to the Roosters when it comes to penalties. They have been given a leg up for years, probably because the NRL knows how vulnerable they have been to collapse. Combining our huge negative penalty differential with their huge positive differential, they've had a 447 penalty advantage. (Expressed in terms of free field position, that's about a 13 kilometre advantage. Converting that advantage to hit ups, that's 1625 free hit ups to the peptide poissons from The Shire)

don't get me wrong, I reckon gordon is a great player and should've easily been picked ahead of McManus, but saying that he is in career best form one game back from a 5 week injury is a bit far.

nothing out of the ordinary there. can anyone give me an update on henare wells' progress?
I have a feeling he might be the guy to slot in on the wing when RTS moves to fullback next year.
