2 - Maloney missed a conversion.

For consistency, can we see the whistle blown and a free kick at goal awarded every time somebody challenges a kicker and ends up bumping the player a little?

Maloney wasnt as bad as Mitchy.
This could be the turning point in Mitchy's career actually. Whether he lets the fact that he has again let down his state get to him, or whether he soaks it all up like the champion I know he is, and uses it to his and more importantly, our advantage at club level.
Not a great night to be a Rooster supporter guys, but as long as we do the shonks, I'll still give this week a tick.

I reckon our boys can hold their heads high.

- QLD has by far the better team on paper and only won by a contentious penalty.
- To beat QLD we needed to play our best and have luck on our side. We played our best...
- Cordner had a decent first game! Without Gallen and Hayne I thought we held our own.
- Pearce ran the ball a lot and had a solid game. Sure he denied us the chance to have 1 last roll of the dice in the last 10 seconds but really... the game was lost before then.

We lost (I can bicker about how/why) but it was close. My only disappointment is that we let the QLD game slip away...
