It brings them back to the pack a bit but it remains to be seen how our guys pull up after Origin. I'm expecting a few rough weeks from us, too.
Souths have a much tougher run home than us. In their last five rounds they play Melbourne, Manly, Canterbury, Wests and then us. They won't win all of those without Inglis.

Every cloud has a silver lining ay...
Can't say this hands us a minor premiership on a plate (~10 games to go... we need to win and other teams including but not restricted to $ouff$ have to lose.)
Much better than hearing Jennings/Maloney/Pearce/Cordner are injured. Put it that way

I still think Souffs will beat more or less everyone except us and Melbourne without Inglis - their forwards are too big and strong.
But against teams with really good defence, Inglis was their go to man. I mean, you put GI one on one with SKD and they're in 9 times out of 10.
Without Inglis, they might not have an answer to our defence.
Round 26 will be a cracker.

I expect he'll be out closer to 4 weeks than 8. 8 weeks is the worst case scenario.
Even so, 4 weeks could still be enough to help us claw back 2 points. Providing we are 2 points behind them by round 26 we'll then be able to beat them to win the minor premiership
