Even when Slater returned last year to my eye he struggled.

Agreed about Slater In fact I would go as far to say that Slater since returning from that injury has lost at least a yard of his pace I may be wrong here but from memory he had problems with the same knee earlier last year or maybe the year before

So wont come out and say Inglis is going to lose a yard of pace because of this

anyone see Inglis being interviewed on FSN after his knee scan this afternoon, he was still drunk from celebrations last night (nothing wrong with that), but not a great look for the league having a star player mumbling through an interview.

Dont really see an issue As long as he was not rude or anything like that To be expected really

I personally do not wish to see South Sydney drop 1 or 2 games allowing us to catch them for the Minor Premiership in a close battle as they would still go in to the finals series full of confidence as Melbourne Storm managed to last season. Let them have the pressure that comes with being Minor Premiers and chasing a first premiership in over four-decades however losing all of their games without Greg Inglis and having their confidence dented would be a good thing for us.

agree nothing really wrong with it, you would expect they would have celebrated hard, you just would of thought his club would have protected him from doing an interview while under the weather.

Was this a sanctioned interview about Souths or a post SOO interview ? I dont really know how any of that works and what roles clubs play in what players are available to the media for interviews and when

Isn't grog off limits to injured players, something about slowing recovery time???

I've never been happy for an opposition player to get injured but........yeah.

Does anyone know if we can trade our bwaiff voodoo dolls from last year, for a billy Slater or Cam Smith doll?

Fark I want us to win this year.
                    Comment of the year:

Souths will really miss Inglis. Most of their attacking plays are worked around him.Things are looking really good for us in the run home.We could very well finish up minor premiers imo.

                        Huge loss
                        No X factor
They are a different prospect without the New South Welshman

The minor premiership is a big deal, because whoever finishes first probably won't have to play Melbourne week one.

Even at home, Melbourne in the finals would be a tough ask for both us and Souffs.

I'd much rather Manly (not that they'd be a cake-walk).

The a gods are cruel, cause it has been reported on that Inglis will only miss two to three weeks, it isn't as bad as first thought. Looks like game back on for Minor Premiership.

inglis reported that himself, he said it to a reporter

he said 8 weeks is a bit stretched more like 2-3 weeks

it was on the smh website

not officially from souths so im guessing he is just making it up so all the attention is off him
