A.Reynolds would be ready by next year. State of Origin has always been about composure and 95% of people are also of the belief it's his time next series. His passing game might not be great (yet), but his kicking game is right up there to win it for us

That is just plain bullshit, he is not frantic in club football
As for this, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I still view his play at times as hasty and uncomposed

You say you would pick Reynolds next year but who would you have had at 7 this year?

Reynolds would not have changed the result in this series and it may well have hurt him being given the poison chalice in his second year.

Adam Reynolds is not an origin footballer. He will get smashed. Same as Sowie.
        What? Halfback?

Fair dinkum. The lengths some people are willing to go to to defend him is just hilarious.

The guy has played 11 Origins and sucked in 11 Origins. NSW dominated both games at home for lengthy periods and Pearce never looked like setting up a try, getting a repeat set.

People are pissed because he's had a free reign in rep footy for far too long (surely, it's now over) - and to a lesser extent a free reign ion the No.7 jersey here.

His only decent seasons in seven years have been this year and 2010, when he has been carried by Carney and a gun team all over this year.

If we win anything this year it will be very much in spite of him. He ****ing sucks.

Actually carney, anasta and the coach all said in 2010 that he was the organiser of the team, it seems you will go to great lengths too, he was hardly carried.

Very naive to look at it like that, NSW didn't have the options, which is why Pearce hasn't gotten the run he has so far, that is not the fault of Pearce. Got put in when is was too young and still developing at club level and that has boosted his numbers.

2010 was a long time agao now Pearce organised Carney just went about the business of winning us games Whether you and others care to admit it or not The career of Mitchell Pearce is well and truly at the crossroads

He can dust himslef off from yet another failure at SOO level and come back and play a leading hand in a GF win this year Or he can come back make the same errors he does on a weekly basis and either end up packing his head in scrums or end up in the way Anasta ended up Where after years and years of shite play and people blindly defending him People finally cottoned on that he was rubbish

Pearce still has his future and how he will be remembered here in his hands But he must lift his game Because at the moment as hard as he tries and yes he does try bloody hard it is just not quite good enough

PS I wish him all the best and nothing but success

Who on here said years ago that while Pearce is a great club player, he will never reach the rep heights in his career?

                They were spot on.

At the end of the day he is doing the job for the Roosters(still some things to improve on) and that's all that matters.

There's a real halfback shortage in the NRL and we should be happy that we have Pearce. I mean, look at some of the other options running around in the NRL.

True we are lucky to have him and even luckier to have an adequate replacement already at the club in Daniel Mortimer

You are a special character indeed. Special, as in ride your own bus special.

Bag Pearce until the cows come home but lose your shit when someone dare criticise Mini.

He needs to lift Greedy There are little things he needs to eradicate from his game If he can do that I will be the 1st to congratulate him Surely even you can see his career is now at the crossroads

PS I wish him all the best and nothing but success

PSS And we are lucky to have Daniel Mortimer at the club As if for some reason Mitchell Pearce cannot play we have an adequate repalcement where we lose nothing

I just hope that when Hastings Jr gets here he is given the time to come through the ranks before being promoted to 1sts.
Otherwise it will be another Jr Jr episode.

No halfback can dominate unless the pack is going forward. We only ever had fajita, who was awesome for a young kid, Hoffman, choc and bird going forward. Tamoe got owned by Scott.
Both halves were always on the back foot so being critical at that level on a slippery pitch is a bit rich.
NSW forwards got owned by QLD and so unfortunately they won Again.
Pearce wasn't good, but no 1st time 1/2 would have been better, because he wouldn't have had any time, as we were getting owned in the ruck.

                              Massive cop out.

NSW dominated the first game for 65 minutes. Dominated in the forwards and field possession.

They definitely had the better field possession and chances to put pressure on in the decider.

Pearce is just nowhere near good enough.
