Think about it, Why would a board member do it publicly when he has near unlimited access to the player.
This letter is more a call to arms for the fans to get behind pearcey and to get to the game.
It's aimed at the fans not the PlayerWhen you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want

You tell that to them in person. There is absolutely zero reason to do it in public like that when it will simply lead to more negative pressure on him by the media at large.

The difference when we screw up at work is it is not veiwed by entire the workforce, our competitors and the general public with everyone given a forum of different sorts to run a commentary over our lack of performance and failings. What the club has done is to step in and voice support for our man. No one is glossing over what went on on wednesday night but equally people aren't going to stand back and let him get pummeled when NSW's 1, 6, 7 and 9 all struggled at times in the game. i dont have a problem with what the players, coach and our club management have done.

I'm tipping Bouris has hardly touched a footy in his life.

I remember Kimmorley saying how he never got over that pass he threw in origin that resulted in an intercept try. Said it was in the back of his mind regularly for years. Given the magnitude of Mitchy's origin failure over the years, I just hope he's equipped to deal with this mentally.
Might not be such a bad move to get in the likes of Phil Duke, Hodgson, and Kimmorley to have a sit down with Mitch just to let him know about the path that's ahead of him, and the best way to deal with it.

I just don't by the argument that having money gives someone more knowledge.
It was a nice touch from Bouris but not sure the best way to show his support.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

More the fact that everyone in the club are sticking by PearceOrf and letting it be known publicly.
It's very important for the year IMO. All the best sides have that stick mentality.
I may not agree with everything written on either extreme of the argument. There are hysterical opinions both ways.
But the way everyone's come out and stuck up for the bloke IMO shows they are a tight group and have the attitude to actually challenge for the comp this season.
I hope tonight we hurt them in defence, attitude baby. I love it.
I've been super critical over the last 10 years of our 'soft' attitude, thru the whole club, not just the players.
Sticking by your teammates when they fark up is very Australian.
Great attitude from the club.
I must credit the coach, he really has created a tough winning mentality.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.
