I haven't been here for a while. Since about 7pm on Wednesday night. Simply for insanity's sake.
I just tried to stay off social media as much as possible because I knew the Pearce/Maloney/general roosters bagging would be horrendous. And it was, I think it is safe to say Pearce won't be playing for the blues for the next 5 years at least.
Anyway, that's not important. We need to simply forget about Wednesday night, and move on. We are playing a Sharks side which are coming fifth, and have shown incredible depth. However, they have been struck by injuries to key players, and are missing Ryan, Robson, Gallen, Lewis and Graham. A large portion of the cap right there. Add in the fact that Gordon is just coming back from an injury and Fifita is backing up, then it's fair to say they won't exactly be in peak form. But we can't take them lightly.
The loss of SBW doesn't help, but we can T I T to get us through. That's trust in Trent. Because if we had to trust anyone else, I wouldn't do it. Not after Wednesday night. Oh, and let's all welcome back Toddy to the SFS for the first time since he left.
Expect a big game from Maloney, Jennings, Cordner and MY MAN PEARCE!
