  • Pearce vs Gower

Can someone please remind me what this feud is about .. someone's sister isn't it? I remember years ago Pearcey taking an intercept on FT against Gower's Penrith to win us the game. I hope someone puts Darius into his place .. pathetic excuse for a footballer!

I seem to remember Gower going on a drunken rampage at some event or other, his antics including getting a bit too familiar with Pearce's sister. Allegedly

PENRITH halfback Craig Gower is at the centre of another alcohol-fuelled incident involving rugby league players, with allegations the Test footballer manhandled the daughter of former great Wayne Pearce after a charity golf event.

Gower was at the presentation dinner for the Jack Newton Celebrity Golf Classic on the Sunshine Coast when the incident reportedly occurred.

The Nine Network reported that the 27-year-old had manhandled the woman and was later involved in separate heated altercations with both Pearce and the son of the former Test player and NSW captain. It was further alleged that Gower - who was thrown out of the Australian rugby league team for exposing himself to a tourist in 1999 and fined $3000 for breaking a NSW team curfew last year - was kicked out of the official function, and had walked around the resort naked and crashed a golf cart.

That intercept was in 2007 with 48 seconds left on the clock. The Penny Pamfers thought they had the game all sewn up but Gower was too lazy to pick up a loose ball, so Mitch took the opportunity. That's Karma Kramer for the revolting act Gower did to Tatum Pearce who was age 16 at the time, and he being 27 and engaged to be married also.

fancy a 27 year old bloke feeling up a 18 year old girl, then getting into a stoush with her 15 year old brother.
              disgusting.

I remember it was Wing who scooped up the ball and produced a nice little offload to a flying Pearce to win it.

Was DEFINITELY Sa who put the hit on, with wing scooping it up and offloading to Pearce.

It went to the video ref and they were checking to see if Sa was onside from the play the ball. He had both feet behind the line as the player got up he took off perfectly in time, with one foot in the air while the other remainedln the try line keeping him onside.

Holly, Tones, and I were going crazy in the stands

Pretty sure it was Willie Brown who put the hit on for Jordan Tansey to pick up the ball to pass it to a flying Charlie Tonga. Nah, actually you are exactly correct.
