You've all got it wrong...can't believe how many people were obviously affected by alcohol or drugs that night.
The way I remember it: Pearce sprints from the dead ball line. Smashes Gower, leading with the top of his head, into the groin area, leaving the hapless panther prostrate holding onto his prostate. Pearce then picks up the ball, doubles back toward Gower, steps on his balls before heading upfield with a zigzagging, sidestepping run through 11 panthers with Wallace in pursuit all the way until he swan dove over the tryline after his 190 metre journey. While this was happening, Wayne Pearce, watching from the sideline behind the bench, snatched a can of KB from his laughing daughter and hurled it perfectly at the still prone Gower, hitting him in the groin from 45 metres away. The ghost of Laurie Nicholls, shadow punched his way towards Gower, before calling on some otherworldly favours and rematerialising for a quick one two to Gower's nether regions. Amanda was last seen, crying and running towards the exit gate.
That's how I remember it! Maybe I was on the drugs...
