an option would be for you to open a betfair account and lay the Roosters - preferably when we get a little bit shorter - to guarantee yourself a nice return

I'm an all or nothing type of guy though Tony.....and besides, I've only risked $10.

I have another one going. I backed the Roosters with 12.5 start when we beat the Bulldogs a few weeks back all up Wests Tigers with the same start when they beat the Raiders in the wet, all into Souths giving up 10.5 start against Parra into the Gold Coast to beat Brisbane by between 5-8 points (they won by 6) all up Qld giving up 4.5 start and total points to be under 34.5 in the 2nd Origin (26-6). My final leg is Crystal Palace to beat Tottenham in the first round of the UK Premier League in a couple of weeks. Ticket value is $408.15 and I had $10 on it.

The Crystal Palace game was a mistake....I was using one of the TAB's Electronic Betting Terminals and the lines on it were a bit out of whack. I didn't realise that game was in there till I left the TAB and was checking the ticket, so I don't hold any great hopes for Palace. Still, stranger things have happened and I will be cheering loudly for them against Spurs.
