  • james not mitch aubusson is our lock of the future

the kid has a heart like a lion
is the fittest guy on the park
    is as tuff as nails
and has a great tackling technique.
the only negative is i cant see him busting the line too many times..
then again why do we pay fat useless ****s like cherrington and mason..
there the ones that should be busting the line..

go james i reckon smithy is going to love this player.

so a possible side could be
    mini
    graham
    symmonds
    anasta
    perret
    carney
    pearce
    james aubusson
    cherrington
    miles
    FPN
    friend
    ryles

thats the best side the roosters can field

Do you know wtf you are saying? Yes James would make a great lock imo but i don't see him starting.

This could very well be a possibility. J. Aubusson seems to be the forgotten man for alot of us.

When we beat parra this year James started at hooker and the moved to lock and was a tackling demon., We actually looked really good with him there cleaning up the ruck. A possibility. maybe a Matt Hilder type player that Smith likes. Hilder was a hooker who tackled his hear out as well.

All these threads just lead me to believe we've got too many players in the same positions.

                Depth is a good thing...

I agree, to an extent...But it seems we are overloaded in certain positions and thin in others. Hopefully Smith evens it out as best he can

Couldn't agree more Ace, our recruitment hasn't been really well thought out.

i suggestd this notion of jaubs as lock a little while ago and i can see where you are coming from and agree it could come off. Only qualm with this is that he is quite small and therefore is limited in his ability to give our side any go forward in terms of hitups etc which would limit his role to that of a tackling machine and ball player

                        Hilder - 6ft 1in 100 kilos
                        Jaubs - 5ft 10in 87 kilos
                        Maubs - 6ft 94 kilos

If it ain't Bwaith it will be Maubs who gets first crack IMO.
