and good luck to marty, he has handled it like an absolute gentlemen. never came out on twitter or facebook and said he was looking for a new club or any BS like that. he gave it his all every game, and served the club proudly.
unfortunately, we simply have better players coming through, such as evans, napa and liu. he hasn't been as good as he was hyped up to be, and if the past is anything to go by, it will take him atleast 18 months to get into any sort of good form again following this injury.
a good move by the club imo. we will be better without him.

Too soft to be a battering ram, not skillful enough to be a ball playing forward. Having said that, he will play for qld and Aus in the next few years and we can all cry Shillo MkII.


This is probably the byproduct of Samoa and JWH. Who would have thunk these guys would be doing so well.

Hopefully this leads to LOD getting 1 more year as his experience on the field will continue to be invaluable.
The message of potential extensions/upgrades and confidence in what you are doing to Lui,Napa,Evans will be very positive.

The signing of Casty was his death knell.

I think he bulked up to quickly, and therefore struggled with his mobility. He could still become a very valuable player, but I think it will be another 2 - 3 years before he really comes into his own.

His best Rooster effort was not on the field, rather his twitter comment about Souffs fans a few years ago. For that he will always have my respect.
