The article was fluff, pretty much a plant by Hayne's manager to announce what price he was aiming for - O'Sullivan got played by being sucked into it by the journo.

They started talking to Parra about 2 months ago, the Roosters approached Beavis about 3 weeks ago from what I heard. Not like this has all happened in the last week as the DT have reported it.

Half the comp would have "approached" Hayne in the last 3 weeks, seriously the only way he was leaving Parra was to change code - our club being dragged into this I find embarrassing tbh.
