Hard to go past SBW, but I'm going to say JWH.
The 5 weeks he had off showed me how vital he is to this team. He left a big gap in both our attack and defence.
Friend has to one of the most improved players in the NRL and has really added another dimension to our game this year.Comment

In a year in where would be about 8 strong cadidates....I cannot split Jake and JWH they have both been enormous but I have to say Jake as he has been able to turn up ever week where as JWH was unfairly IMO rubbed out for 5 weeks.....SBW is the icing on the cake and could prove to be vital in the big games at the end of the year but for a MVP so far I would say Jake Friend.Originally posted by boogie
