  • JWH (again!)

    Big kudos to JWH.

Not just for another phenomenal effort on the field...

Well after his teammates had disappeared off up into the sheds he was out on the sidelines by himself surrounded by fans - posing for photos with the kids (and adults), chatting with the fans, joking about etc. All the time with a massive grin on his face

I've never seen a player so devoted to the fans on the sidelines.

Give the man the captaincy now, and throw at him whatever it takes to make him a one club man

PS: for the record, i'd consider turning for JWH. that's how much I rate him as a player and a bloke

a lot of the players make time for the fans and are great like that. Still, JWH does it better than most.

Played 6 first grade games in 2009 for Manly.

              Getting very Morley-esque.

                JWH the new Fitzy.

There. Fitzy may have played for another club (2 actually) before coming here but he has Roosters blood flowing through his veins. Same with JWH, you cut him he bleeds red, white and blue. Well, actually he would bleed red but he has our club in his body.
                SUPER DRAGON!

I don't know how he feels about the captaincy but personally I don't think he needs it.

He's already an exceptional leader and an amazing ambassador for the club off the field. He doesn't need the C beside his name to be a leader of our club, he already is.

His generosity towards the everyday fan exceeds any other player I've ever met, much respect for the big man.

Yes JWH is great with the fans. We see him twice a year at meet and greets, he always remembers us and has a chat.
