I have been thinking and I suspect the only possible reason for the Roosters doing so badly is that they have been spending al of time curing the common cold.
My reasoning has also deduced that the not-so-common cold has also been cured but negotiations are taking place on making a decision on naming the new wonder drug.
Several top medical researchers have been linked with the Roosters and the off field problems were not alcohol induced but a result of players stepping up and testing the new cures, sometimes with less than desirable results.
I think the signing of Smith is a clear indication that a man with intelligence has been brought in to bring to cohesion to the Roosters scientist ranks.
This brings me to the excitiment that is next year, the Roosters will either win the comp or find a cure for cancer.
Without doubt the potential sighning of Ryles is most likely a result of the banning of testing on chimps and rats. Ryles although somewhat less intelligent than those animals provides the necessary test subject.
