I remember buying the NRL 2013 season preview magazine and seeing Phil Cockfield tip the roosters to finish in 15th place! He undoubtably has to be the worlds biggest tosser! What a complete moron! He actually gets paid to write articles in a newspaper??? I hope he can look at the table now and crawl under a rock where he belongs!

ONE too many renditions of "Up, Up Cronulla" has made Phil Rothfield's brain a little soggy.
BUZZ'S COLUMN: LET'S PUT THE INVESTIGATION ON HOLD
Don't feel sorry for him, it was inevitable given the gusto he puts into it.
Having finally come down from his grandstand seat long enough to file his column - it's a little-known fact his wife and kids don't see him unless they join him in the stands - Rothfield wrote Tuesday that ASADA's NRL drug investigation should be put on hold until after the season. His rationale was well intended.
"No one wants to win a competition without beating every full-strength team," he wrote. Unless they are more than full strength: this whole investigation is, after all, about performance-enhancing drugs, not performance equalising.
"Why let it ruin the remaining 10 weeks of the competition," he wrote.
Well, I'd prefer that than to risk having another premiership with an asterisk next to it, like we do in 2007 and 2009 when Melbourne won after cheating the salary cap.
Nothing is as depressing as looking at the premiership trophy and the shields representing 2007 and 2009, which say "Not Awarded".
In Rothfield's defence, on Tuesday he pointed out that ASADA will interview 30 players next month and only nine are from Cronulla, leaving the potential for more than just the Sharks to be heavily affected before the finals.
Manly and Newcastle are also believed to have more than one player involved and should feature deep into the playoffs.
Still, there is a valid reason the World Anti-Doping Agency stipulates minimum two-year bans.
There is medical evidence that, even after ending a drug course, an athlete can still benefit from the course of drugs put into his body for as long as two years.
"What's another two months for something that has been dragging on since February," he wrote, asking the investigation be delayed so not to disrupt the finals preparations.
Cronulla had the chance to sit down with investigators in April and chose not to, the investigation at that time not getting any further than Wade Graham's interview.
ASADA went away, beefed up its personnel and discovered more information which, armed with new laws to be introduced Thursday, leaves it confident it has all it needs to get satisfactory answers not only from the Sharks, as intended in April, but also others on the periphery.
Those people could choose not to be interviewed in April. They can't now.
The investigation can't happen quick enough. If Cronulla or any other club is guilty I'd prefer them out of the competition before they make any dent in the finals.
True, having witnessed the grandstand renditions, watched him attend a Super Bowl in his Cronulla jersey, I can understand poor old Buzz's pain.
Most of all, though, there is something more important than the fans' feelings.
That is the integrity of the competition, and that should never be compromised.
AMEN. JAM THAT UP YOUR CLACKER ROTHWIT!!!

If I can steal from Eliot Ness.
"Let justice be done or the heaven's fall."
Especially if it's Cronulla.
I mean if they don't find that Stephen Dank gene spliced Paul Gallen with a Gorilla then Mrs. Laurie Brereton didn't her job.SUPER DRAGON!

This article's grand... reminds me of one where Joe Hildebrandt challenged Piers Akerman (the fat cocaine addict from the tele who writes similar quality $hit to Slothfield... known for getting expelled from high school and being violent towards female staff.)
If there's more of this I might actually navigate to news.com.au, which is saying something!!
