At 9pm they are replaying the 2000 prelim where we came back from 16-0 to beat the Knights, the same game where Johns throws a long pass that Freddy intercepted. Great viewing.
My all time equal favourite game along with the 2002 Grandfinal win.

especially after cocky Johns mouthing off at halftime to Fletch to "enjoy mad Monday" and that cocky winger kissing the camera after scoring just on half time !

I remember my mum sitting there and saying that the chooks would come back and win it after Albert done that.
I didn't want to hear it at the time but the old duck was right!
We came back from a few decent scorelines that year. You just knew we were never out of it because we were that good though.
In saying that, I thought Newcastle were going to run away with it that night.
