I lot of non-Roosters supporters I talk to share Hindmarshes opinion. Most believe that Pearce and Maloney going into their shells and injuries are the only two things that will stop the Roosters this year.

Personally I disagree with Hindmarshes assertion that our pack won't help. On form, our pack is the best pack in the comp. Our forwards are a lot different to those that got rolled by the rabbits in round 1. Jake Friend will also help out with his kicking and running game. SBW also provides ball playing ability.

I share the concern that our halve may not perform (I think they will, but it is yet to be shown), but I don't think we will be as reliant on them as Hindmarsh is making out.

I was actually using it to show that people are blind and deaf to some of the deficiencies of this team but you want to be silly then so be it.

I think it great that people in the media are having a dig this late into the season.

The team has a lot to prove. We haven't beaten Mebourne or South Sydney this season so the criticism is warranted.

If we want to win the title we have to beat one of or both so it keeps the team grounded where as every man and dog has praised us.

The Melbourne game in Canberra hopefully was an eye opener that this competition is certainly not over yet.

Melbourne are the team I fear most. Been there - done that. The coach knows how to peak them. They have 3 of the best players in the comp in their roster.

Just fuel for the players to fire up on ....as you say, pin this up in the dressing sheds !

It's just one man's perspective and usually Hindy is a level headed guy but, it's his opinion. Obviously not the bookies opinion.

Best halves combo in the comp bar maybe DCE/Foran. Leading every attacking stat as a club, but to Hindys point they have struggled in big games (Origin)

Finals are a very different beast to SOO as these guys have had a full season to work on combinations with their team, not 10 days

To me its more they are unproven in the big games.
What I do think about the games we lost, is that it was a team thing not individual failures.

MAybe we should not ignore Hindmarsh's opinion on our halves after all he knows a lot about halves failing in the small games let alone the big ones.
