That's got to be close to the dumbest thing I've ever read. Seriously, how does someone who gets paid to analyse the game come up with such a mind boggling conclusion?

i dont think our halves havent stepped up in big games. I think teh NSW forward pack is nowhere near as potent as the Roosters pack. Thats the difference, not the ocassion.

R6 haven't read the article assuming its paper - i dont read newspapers anymore - look at a bit of online content or haven't seen it if it came from pay TV. You seem to have a good read on most things you have posted and if that is a fair summation well i am with you i am completely lost.

there would be the lion share of the bottom half teams halves pairing of the competition would give anything for the "do nothing forward pack" of JWH, Friend, SBW, LOD, Cordner, Moa, Aubussen, FPN, etc,etc we are currently running around with. i would be pasting that article or quote up on the dressing room walls.

i am sure most roosters fans would also be keen to get rid of the rubbish pack we have and get some of the genuine forward packs he had in mind - perhaps a straight trade with the Parra pack - their halves have been having a cracking year this season.

Only forward I'd have from Parra would be Tim Mannah but he's playing on raw emotion at the moment. I wouldn't want to have to pick up the mess at the end of the year.

yeh I agree with that totally but its shit about our forwards. I think our 4 forwards are the best in the comp for consistency, work rate, meters and tikka

Both players would have heard the criticism of their big games & would no doubt been trying to improve it.

Exactly... they are professionals and will have heard it all. Robbo's a good coach, who I think can provide the winning plan.

Also let's not get too carried away with Origin. We lost by 2 points against completely uneven competition!!! Pearce/Maloney were there for the big game, performed and have rebounded instantly at club level like true professionals... what big games have Reynolds/Sutton played? Oh wait none...

Since Sir Martin Kennedy got injured we've been relentlessly steamrolling opposition packs for 80 minutes. Maybe he hasn't seen us play since MLK got injured.

I also find his comments about playing well in big games amusing given no "big name" player has ever underperformed for the Blues as consistently as Hindy did.
