  • Help me remember a player's name...

I'm having a mind blank trying to remember the name of a player who has played for us recently.

It's driving me crazy so I was wondering if anyone can help me.

He's a forward ... I think he was a front rower. He was pretty big, about 115-120kg, but didn't use his weight to his advantage.

The big fella used to hit the line with all the force of a gingerbread man. He took forever to play the ball as well ... in fact he's probably still playing the ball right now.

The lump also used to give shitloads of penalties away, too. I recall that he also screams like a girl when he gets injured, too.

I think the reason im struggling to remember his name is because Isaac Liu has come along and totally made the spot his own with the way he hits the line at speed, plays the ball quicker than anyone and also involves himself with some clever ball handling before the line.

Please help me, what was this blokes name!!!

He's probably getting to Brisbane as quick as he plays the ball.... So according to calculations he is still on the way to Brisbane

Do you mean after his knee was dislodged in the opposite direction it should be in , that injury????

Maybe you should volunteer your time, hyper extend your own knee, and sit quietly for 80 minutes to show the boys how it's done.

And just FYI, in MK's breakout season of 2010, he was twice as potent as liu has been this season and looked far more dangerous before suffering a career threatening injury. I'm so happy for Liu with his development, and look forward to seeing him play for us long term. However I am not one for Knee jerk reactions(mind the pun) like many on the pen and I don't like to kick someone when they're down.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Kick him while he's down? He just signed a 3-year 330k per year deal. He'll survive.

And I've torn my ACL ... it was extremely painful. But I still didn't scream! But i'll let him off for I suspect it was more mental anguish than anything.

Upon reflection my post is harsh and unfair on a good bloke. But we still remain a MUCH better team in his absence and i'd take Liu over 2013 MLK or 2010 MLK any day.

And please, can we please stop using the "career threatening injury" as an excuse for being Dancin' Dallas when hitting the line.

I think you could be the prime suspect for 56's grassy knoll theory

He could well be, mate, but for the record....it is Craptain Backwards Grassy Knoll theory. But I tend to agree with it.

Now that MLK is gorn....who is the next Chookpen Whipping Boy?

Only have to wait until the next loss, me thinks.

Happy days are just around the corner
