Mitchell Aubusson re-signs with the Roosters
Tuesday, May 26, 2009
Utility Mitchell Aubusson has extended his stay at the Sydney Roosters until the end of the 2011 season.
The new two year deal, signed by Aubusson today, will see him continue his growth with the club that first signed him in 2006 when he was 18 years old.
After a year of Jersey Flegg, Aubusson made his first grade debut in Round 1 of 2007. He has been a regular in the top grade since then.
“I’m excited to extend my stay at the Roosters and continue to grow with this group of guys”, Aubusson said.
“It is a great opportunity to further develop the combinations with the other guys in the team, especially the other players who also debuted in 2007 such as Mitchell Pearce and Shaun Kenny-Dowall.”
Mitchell’s re-signing confirms the club’s position on retention and development of young talent.

He is recovering well, and should be right to fly back home to spend some time with him mum and family in the next few days......
He is confident of a complete recovery intime for training to start back in November....
