I was told earlier this week Smith is happy for Mason to go, and has made it clear to management, and the club doesnt have a problem with that... The only problem is the contract money (he will be our highest paid player again this year),a payout needs to be agreed upon and another club found.

Currently Mason is being shopped around to the ESL. Lets see how it plays out, because Mason has said he doesn't want to leave Sydney..

On another note Smith wants to play Myles in the second row and he is a fan of Daniel Conn and Nick Kouparitsas

The squad for 2010 is NOT finalised, still negotiating with some players - I asked but wasnt told the names ... Interesting times ahead

There are also question marks over Sa, other clubs have expressed interest...

I thought Smith made it clear when he first arrived that he didn't care if Mason left?

Sa is linked to the 'Dogs, but I think that's as much about his management talking to everyone to sound out levels of interest as anything. The 'Dogs rated him highly, once upon a time.

Sa is actually really talented just becasue he had a shit year doesnt mean we should get rid of him. Any bet if he goes to the bulldogs he'll have the greatest year ever and play for NZL again.

WE should get rid of him because he dragged the club's name in the mud by being drunk and disorderly when every bonehead already knew we were in the shit in the media over this stuff.

Regardless of what happens to his "charges".

Huh? What has that got to do with anything?
As for Mason, please go and take Sa with you.
Smith likes Koops - that's interesting and shows he sees something many of us don't.

I like Koops, think he's a very talented player. Not a hooker though.

Koups is alright. He had a really good year for the Dogs in 2007 but played 2008 busted and frankly we could have had Jesus Christ in the backrow and still gone crappola.

Also, ballplaying backrowers will come into their own next year. Don't know if anyone has noticed but the refs are keeping a much shorter 10 metres (if that makes sense) and the teams that have second phase play through their offloads are playing for GF spots.

Saints and the Dogs were both lacking in that area. Last night's offloads were 41 - 7 to Parra, and that's how they killed us in the regular season as well.

Sa is actually getting interest from the panthers as well.

in the end, with Mason, the club has always said, if he wants to go to union or ESL, they would not stand in their way, the club is keeping the satus quo.

                      Sa knows ingredient X
He will leave if and only if a deal is done.
Not only that, Sa also knows where to get the best vegies, especially the firmest turnips money can buy and without those babies, no team is going to win a game in the NRL

That's right, people judging him on his performances at hooker are being very unfair.. I think he has something to offer in the backrow.
