To me, the most suspicious aspect of the whole thing is not the penalties we concede, but our lack of penalties. Remember, not only do we concede the most, we also receive the fewest. Year after year after year.

It is blatant and obvious cheating.

Even when we win 40-nil we still lose the penalties 2-1. This is unheard of. When a team is being hammered and are backpedalling they always concede offside penalties -- except against us.

ABC has always been my station of choice when listening, especially when I've been overseas or interstate, but after that Storm game, I switched off at the 65th minute and haven't listened to a radio broadcast since. It's just too frustrating and cold comfort when even the commentators can see we get stitched up on these occasions. I bring my ipod now to listen on the bus ride over instead..

The Roosters are the most penalised.
Therefore the Roosters have the best defence BECAUSE they are the most penalised.

In other words, they are cheating in defence and getting away with it.

            His solution:

Sin bin Roosters players if they concede 3 penalties in a game.
Suspend Roosters players if they concede a certain number of penalties in the course of a year.

(Then, presumably, it will be much easier for Souths to win the comp.)
but surely if we are cheating we would not be getting penalised

Little Timmy Gore is 100% correct! The refs are way too soft on us and must get far far tougher with us!! Don't worry about any other side, just place all the focus squarely on us and start sending our players off, at least a minimum of 4 per game just to make it fair! Then to make it even more fair each player sent off must be suspended a minimum 4 weeks. You are a pure genius Timmy!! Keep up the outstanding work Timmy!! A big round of applause for Timmy!! Three cheers for Timmy, hip hip....horray,...hip hip.....horray,...hip hip.....horray!!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

              Here's looking at you, kid.

What would he like ....... the whole team to be sin binned! This would assure the opposition won.

                          This is absolute bull$hit.

If they wanna start binning Roosters they'd wanna look at the usual suspects such as Smith, Luke, Ennis, Farrah etc etc....

Talking about shooting yourself in the foot. Are these Guys for real?

                          Anderson's a failure.

It's time to privatise refereeing and make to it fully professional - including management.

C'mon Dave (Smith), you know what to do - let's get serious about our game, just like the mighty Roosters have.

Should a team get penalised for good defence - apparently yes - 5 weeks JWH 2 weeks SBW but a sicko like Burgess gets two weeks for grabbing balls. He needs to realise we're not convicts anymore and he's a visitor in our country. Squirrel grips are not part of our game.

I wouldn't draw on anything from the modern union game particularly relating to refereeing. Something wrong when the majority of points come from penalty conversions in international games.
