My mail is that SBW is waiting on the NZ Rugby Union to advise him that if he comes back in 2015 he will still make the World Cup squad. At this stage he has been advised to be back in 2014 or he won't be chosen.

Sounds to me like he wants to play for the ABs again.

yes he does seem to have photos of himself in cheifs gear on instagram, but there are also quite a few of himself and other roosters teammates, like on the camp they went on earlier this year and a few other roosters functions

so i'd say he is enjoying himself here, hopefully enough so he sticks around

              Your mail is crap...

the criteria for consideration to trial for 2016 Blacks is team participation in super rugby for the 2015 season, I have family who play in that comp & that's the way it is.

In fact if the 2016 Blacks hierarchy are really keen they allow dispensation for 2016 participation minimum, or if you're the all Black captain you don't have to play at all jus turn up on the big day.

If SBW leaves, Fergo is not the man to "replace" SBW. Fergo is awesome and I think we should get him but not to replace SBW.

Fergo is a bit too hot and cold for my liking, and wont be able to do the kinda things SBW does to lift the team. Like that try SBW scored yesterday, he wanted to get us going again. You could see the passion he showed soon as he scored....

And playing from centre, Fergo wont get the ball in his hands as much as SBW. I dont know who will be off contract that we could target, and I dont think there are many big name players... But lets hope we bring some one in who can do even half the things SBW does for us on and off the field !

SBW is mature enough and classy enough to advise our club of his next move when the time is right. I don't think trumpeting this news right in the middle of our finals campaign would be the time to do it. My guess is we'll know in October what his next move will be.

Fergo is $500,000 though, if SBW goes we'd still have $300,000, which could be used to upgrade contracts or if let another player go it could be used to get a decent player.

Say thanks for coming and for what you did for our club and move on. Sometimes a summer romance may not turn out to be an ideal marriage..I warned some of you on here not to get too attached to him..he's not ours to keep forever..
Your right rwb, but it is easier said than done when it comes to not getting too attached to him. Can you imagine though if we went back to back with SBW, he would be worshiped like a God!

As SBW said, his heart is torn in two so I think he can be persuaded. He loves a challenge, I see no greater challenge than going back to back in the NRL, surely this can big a huge carrot to entice him back again next year.

Imo I don't see a great point in him going back to the chiefs next year. The chiefs have already gone back to back this year and the rugby world cup isn't until 2015.

Lets turn a winters romance into two!

The next rugby world cup is 2015 mate. Maybe you are thinking of the Olympics in 2016 where SBW is thinking of wanting to play for NZ in the rugby 7's?
