That rudderless first half effort on Monday was just the reminder the boys needed.
TRobbo's half time rocket got them grounded again & back on track. It was a blessing in disguise. Had that 1st half been against quality opposition like $ouff$ or Melba it might have been a different result.

    That said, Easts by plenty.

This will be a really hard game for us, that Sharks forward pack on paper is ridiculously good.

I thought Robbo got the interchanges wrong the last time we played without LOD & SBW against Canberra (this time it's LOD & Cordner), imo one of FPN or Moa need to come off the bench to lead the team.

A middle third rotation of Liu, Napa & Arona off the bench just isn't good enough. Not against that Sharks pack.

My biggest question over Cronulla is how many points they can create and finish off, on paper that's got to be the worst 3/4 line in the comp, but Graham comes back for them this week which is a huge boost. His combinations with Carney & Gordon before he got injured were the highlight of their attack.

If we stagger the front row rotation starting with JWH and Liu then you can have Jwh Moa then Moa Napa together finishing with JWH Liu?

JWH only played the opening 29 minutes last week. I think he'll play big minutes this week due to LOD being out!

And Jake only playing 40, so they'll both play big minutes this week

              Hahahaha

This is close to my favourite ever post on here. Who would've thought it'd come from you, such rational thinking.

Looks like Langi is back and Maubs goes into the backrow

The Roosters, now with two consecutive losses behind them, will be desperate to return to their winning ways and cement a spot in the top four.

Standing in their way are the Cronulla Sharks – an unpredictable side that have hit a late-season purple patch with four wins from five games.

The resulting match will be a Monday night thriller that could well end in upset.

The Sharks’ 24-16 win against the Dragons at the weekend was a polished effort, Cronulla missing just 21 tackles and completing 80 per cent of their sets.

Winger Dallas Wells scored two tries in the victory, while back-rower Sione Masima (200 metres, one try assist, seven tackle-breaks) was a true juggernaut.

The Sydney Roosters have endured a much less enjoyable week, after going down 32-18 to 2012 champs the Wests Tigers.

Rhyse Martin, playing at centre for the tri-colours, was easily their best – contributing a try, 125 metres, 11 tackle-breaks and two line-breaks.

Hooker Alex Thomas (42 tackles, four tackle-breaks, one try assist) worked his heart out up front.

The Roosters are clearly a quality football side but with each week that goes past, they seem to be exposing more and more previously-hidden weaknesses.

If the Sharks are in the mood on Monday, they can win this one.

                  Tip: Sharks by two points.
an kiss this one good bye then.

I would make one change to this line up.... Ashley Klein to the bench and any other ref in. We have a crappy record with AK blowing the whistle.

And add to that the sin bin being front and centre in the Ref's minds, I'm calling there being a Roosters player sat down on Monday night.

Side note: I saw Tim Mander on A Current Affair talking about public housing in Queensland, he's the housing minister up there, and I remembered what made him one of the best Ref's out there. He was straight down the line all the way.

I have a bad feeling about this game. I honestly think we will drop this match. That cronulla forward pack worries me. + all that bullshit refereeing.

Why are the fans so he'll bent on worrying about the refereeing? The players don't let it affect them on game day. It has been said numerous times by Robbo and the players themselves. We have been on the wrong end of so many penalty counts yet are still winning and coming first for that matter. Bring on the sharks I say. That second half, even though it was against an ordinary tigers will probably lift the boys out of a lull that we have been in for a few weeks. I'm tipping a mauling on Monday night us by 20
