Is he any better than the Jets players we already have access to??? I doubt it.

Have you seen the titans forwards depth ? Especially 2nd row ? It's almost impossible to get a crack.

But really, Kouparitsas was a nothing signing. Why did we sign him? What was he meant to contribute to our team? I don't see the point of him signing at all.

Sa is an arseclown and should be sacked right away. Braith plays his heart out every time for us, and was bought for the right purpose, to fill a role in the halves in Freddys absence.

        My bad...

Macker, Koops was clearly bought as a stop gap solution and thats exactly the role he played. 8 games basically filling in when needed. Lets keep in mind throughout this year we've had Myles, Sa, Cherro, Brown, Jaubs, Maubs, Mason, O'Meley, Fitzgibbon and Anasta all injured or suspended at some point in time. Players like Koops get chucked in there, sure they might not be game breakers, they might not be the best person in that position, but they are there to fill a hole, and a necessary evil in every team. Why everyone gets so worked up about these types of signings is beyond me? We whinge when we spend lots of cash on big names, we whinge when we salvage a 25 year old bloke with 5 or more years ahead of him to fill in where needed, we whinge if they buy a young bloke with no experience etc etc etc. Just like Braith was bought to cover for Freddy, Koops was bought to cover a handful of positions in the second row/hooker

I like Kouparitsis. He's not the best player in the world but he does the job for me. I really like him at hooker and I've seen enough of him to think he can be a good first grader.
