  • Guerra

With the loss of Cordner and Maubs move to the centre this week it presents a great oportunity for Guerra to push for a permanent spot in the back row. For me AG who is in good form has stepped back a bit this year due to the calibre of our pack. I have a feeling that AG is due for a blinder Monday night.

I thought Guerra has been solid all year. I don't think we can compare each back rower to the next because we have the toilers, the flashy & than the remaining who are just trying their hardest to be competitive for the team.

I thibk Guerra fits into that category. Thats just my opinion.

I agree he has been solid. In 2012 I really believed AG was on the verge of becoming a great backrower, he started to display leadership qualities (especially on field talk). Obviously his confidence would be down after being dropped back to the Jets a few times during the year and hope he has a blinder Monday night against a very impressive Sharks forward pack. I probably could have cut out all the other crap in my opening post and written.... I love AG I hope he has a blinder Monday night.

I thought Adam has been really good in the last 2 weeks.

I've felt for a while that Guerra and Morts are our weakest points in an otherwise crack outfit.

Guerra is more of a fringe player. He has dramatically changed his role to more of a up the middle player, this year. Guerra deserves a spot on the team imo. He provides great depth.

How many tries did he score last week when he was given a half of football?

I think he has had a very average year this year.

He was good last week...morts...no doubt... but I have a lingering doubt about him against quality opposition.

Happy to see him place an omelette on my dial.

                      Nice guy.

Last year he was scoring and the team was losing, this year he has stiffened up the middle with good D and not scoring as much and the team is winning.
He has not made changes like this without the coaching staffs direction, he definitely deserves his spot.

                              Silent achiever this year.
He earned a lot of respect last year and has played a role in 2013. He'll feel unlucky if he isn't picked in the 17 this year.
