Bombed a try for Tupou by passing too early, and you just know even if he's sniffing around for a Sonny Bill offload, and manages to catch one, he'll do nothing in terms of getting through the line or sparking anything

He must be moved to Roger's wing, or along with poisoning any attacking play he gets involved in, he's a real chance of coming up with a Tuqiri-like clanger at some stage in the finals

Totally agree! When their winger made the break Mini was coming across in cover defense and should have got there comfortably and made the tackle! But instead he made their young winger look like Usain Bolt!

I don't think anyone's questioning his commitment. Was there anyone who didn't "put their body on the line" yesterday?

It's more about his inability to not only create anything in attack, but the fact that he just takes the spark out of any attacking play that he gets involved in, even when his role is to be nothing more than a link man. And his kick returns are the least effective in the comp.

To beat the good sides in finals, we need a fullback who asks questions of the defense, and Mini doesn't.

This is a massive disadvantage given how crucial the position is.

His positional play is still good however as tony pointed out, he bombed a try due to his inability to ball play, which is a massive requirement for a fullback in today's game.

When was the last time he held a pass when a hole was there to run through? 2005?

When was the last time he broke a tackle or went through the line? 2005?
