SBW v Bird

I watched the game on telly yesterday. In the second half, Bird was tackled on our goal line by SBW and another player. After he played the ball the camera panned away, I noticed Bird fall to the ground. I rewound the action and I could see that Bird had grabbed hold of SBW's finger as he got up to play the ball. Bird finally let go then SBW confronted him and Bird went down. By this time, the camera view was too far away to tell if SBW punched him.

Did anyone see this incident up close? I think Bird was trying to milk a penalty.

Yep.. I was watching that grub Bird roll around on the deck feighning injury on our tryline... He was deadset trying to milk a penalty but as none was forth coming he jumped to his feet and gave the touchie a gob full for not running on to report it.. It was farcical watching him wince with that stupid look on his face... You know the one where he closes his beady little eyes and tries to convince anyone that will listen that he has been wrong? (Oh wait, he always looks that stupid) !

I think SBW dislocated his finger and Bird wouldn't let go so Sonny sort off pushed him/open palmed him, you could hear the impact. Bird layed down for about 30 seconds then got up and complained to the touchie who wasn't having a piece of it.

About 2 minutes later SBW ran straight at Bird and sat him on his arse, was great to see.
