Beating Souths on Friday achieves very little in the grand scheme of things for season 2013. The difference between winning and losing would amount to whether we first play Manly then the Storm in the semis before we return to continue the 'book of feuds' with the vermin on GF day.
Just quietly, we've been playing pretty shit the last couple of weeks so let's not get carried away with putting away the rabbits this week and forgetting none of this ever happened (are you listening Jnr Jnr?).
At the moment we've got 4 bona fide roosters legends putting in .. viz: Guerra, Jake Pearce & Jared. Based on our current late season form I expect souths to give us the mother of all touch ups this week and to tell you the truth I wouldn't want it any other way. Whether it's Storm/Manly or Manly/Storm I expect Trent to have the boys peaking for the semis and should the vermin be lucky enough to negotiate their semis only to find that they will be meeting us again in the game that matters, well, even Rusty will be kaking his daks.
