I think if Swans lose they need ANZ on the Saturday; hence we get Alllianz on Sat and Souths play ANZ Fri.

If Swans upset Hawks they get a week off and grounds aren't an issue; in that case NRL game 1v4 should be Fri and 2v3 should be sat.

Why dont they just give the Sharks their home semi at Shark Park ...it is afterall their home ground !
So what if it only holds 20,000, they're only going to be playing an out of Sydney team anyway so there wont be many more than 20,000 likely to go ...besides having a double header will not provide anymore shark seats at SFS than they would get at Cronulla Park.

Also if you are going to do a double header, wouldn't you do it at Homebush, it holds 80,000 ..thats approximatley 20,000 fans from each team.
Having the double header at SFS, means approx 10,000 fans from each club .....surely thats a far worse situation for fans who wont be able to buy tickets.
But is that all about not disadvantaging Rusty, the Vermin and their supporters ? If the Vermin end up playing the Storm on the Friday night, they'll get 25,000 (bugger all out of town supporters), then on the saturday you'd have Manly, Roosters, Cronulla, + 1other teams supporters all squashed into the SFS.
All sounds screwey to me, just to make life fine and dandy for the Vermin !

I am tipping A Swans win this weekend which will save embarassment for the NRL Hawkeye is right any double header must be played at ANZ in conjunction with the vermin game That way all supporters who want to go can be accomodated The whole situaiton is farcical Heads should roll at NRL headquarters

our NYC boys will play Penrith in the first week of the finals, with any luck they will play this match at 1pm on Saturday at Allianz before the NRL double header.
