I may be wrong but it looks like he will be marking Goodwin this week who imo has improved considerabely since he left the dogs, so I feel safe in the fact we have a reliable defender in Aubo marking him this week. Also a positive he is playing outside SBW which could bring SBW's confidence to offload outside him up; it could be a tad low playing outside the error prone SKD evey week

When I first read roger was out I was gutted but upon reflection it may be a blessing .

Souths , particularly GI are great exponents of exposing opposition defenses on the edges. Roger can get caught out of position in defence occasionally and did so in round one. Skids hardly fills me with immense confidence as his replacement but he has plenty of big match experience and let's hope he gets the job done as we will win this with our defence.

Roger has also had a taxing month playing at fullback so provided the injury is only short term then a freshen up will do hm good.

We will miss Rogers speed out of dummy half and his kick returns, SKD and Toupu are not great dummy half runners, or readers in defence.

Maybe but Tupou's runs are extremely strong, he shrugs off 2 or 3 defenders and makes 10-15m before being cut down.

our bench of Mortimer/Napa/Liu/Arona is really scary, we might be competitive for 55 minutes when our starters are on the field but what happens when Friend/JWH/Moa/FPN are sitting on the bench for 25 minutes either side of half time.
