Both Trent and Brian Canavan have ruled out signing Ferguson recently.

Trent is on The Game Plan tonight, and im assuming, just like pretty much every time a Rooster gets interviewed on one of these NRL shows, he will get a question about the future of SBW.

I am not a fan of Blake Ferguson's antics by any stretch of the imagination however I can not recall him being much of a disruption during his time at the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. Perhaps this is because our good friend tony the wheel did not send out the taxi drivers to follow young Blake but it does appear on the surface that Blake Ferguson's misdemeanors have occurred in the poorly disciplined environment at the Canberra Raiders as other players have done so in recent years.

As a footballer he is certainly an amazing talent and somebody that I believe is the premier centre in the game today. It would be foolish not to investigate the possibility of signing a player of Blake Ferguson's calibre to replace Sonny Bill Williams.

If he doesn't sign I'll feel as if we've dodged a bullet, I wouldn't be sad at his signing though, sign him for 2 years or whatever and then get Folau here after the Union world cup.

Folau and Tupou on the wings, RTS at FB, Jennings and Fergo in the centres. Pearce/Maloney still pairing up in the halves then JWH, Cordner, SBW, Moa, Kennedy and Friend making up numbers...

I am of the opinion that our backline is a class player short at the moment. Now Ferguson may not be a classy person, but we can't dispute his footy ability.

Our forward pack is going to be awesome next year even without SBW. So maybe the powers that be are looking at strengthening up our weaker areas.

Personally, I would roll the dice with this one. Jennings AND Ferguson would be good to watch if you are a roosters supporter.

My source tells me the Raiders are looking to have Blake de-registered so he won't be playing anywhere next year in the NRL.
