Being related to an actual decent one, I can tell you that lawyers and judges, for that matter, don't like it when non legal bodies create precedent. Why Hird and his gang didn't tell the afl to take them to court, I don't know.SUPER DRAGON!

But you never know with Uncle Nick. Maybe he thinks he can 'save him' or something.
We're not there yet, we need more good players...including Ferguson.
...if we want to win a premiership that is.

Ferguson is a genuine headcase and will not be worth the trouble he will cause - I don't care how good he is.

If you stop a person from earning a living, and let's face it, Blake Ferguson does not have much in the way of skills outside of sport, then you are liable for civil action.

Restraint of trade is bullshit and a term used in the NRL by the greedy.
Basically he has breached the contract which he signed as employment with the Raiders and that also contains conditions relating to the NRL.
Like any other employee if you continually stray from the conditions of your employment you are gone and highly unlikely to be employed at any business related to the parent entity. The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

I think whoever posted this is grabbing at air. We already have Jennings, Moga and SKD in the centres. Purchasing another centre wouldn't make sense (even with doubts over SKD being here long term).
Also, as many have said the Roosters have finally cleaned up their act. I understand that rugby league attracts a lot of grubs but lets keep them out of our team. Last time we had a grub (Carney) in our team he destroyed us! Yes, we did make the 2010 GF but the aftermath meant we spent a few years at the bottom and had to rebuild our team!
If SBW doesnt sign then we need to retain our young start coming through, Evans, Moga, RTS etc. With the left over money I would purchase a winger (we dont have to many options if we have injuries). Possibly a second rower to replace SBW.
