I said I accept that it was a penalty because that is the rule, I that said that they should change the rule, in my opinion.
    understand?
I was born in that year
So let me " understand '' you want the nrl to change the rules so when a player passes after there ball carry arm has come in contact with turf , they can give the ball back to that player ? Great idea whilst they are at it just get rid the double movement rule too

it could easily have been called held.

The eye gouging, leg twisting, nut grabbing souffs are the bestest at dishiplin.

no it doesn't, inglis exploits it badly, I would hope that some captains get in the refs ear about it...

And it would of been yet another incorrect call against us.

he passed it as his arm touched the ground, obviously he cant be on the ground for 5 seconds, then get up and pass it.
if it simultaneous, similarly to when the ref calls held and an offload is given, it should just go back to playing the ball.

He probably doesn't even think that he just likes to have a different opinion, probably so he can argue with people.

I believe part of the reason they give players benefit of the doubt with passing whilst tackled is because they may not hear them .Thats why its different with passing off the ground

true, but when it is simultaneous like the SBW penalty was, I think it should be a play the ball.
