My mate said something today when we were watching the storm. And this is why the above comment rings true, start a fight every tackle. So they have to pull it up & review it.

If Maloney goes down holding his eye and a few of the boys come rushing in and a push and shove escalates 1) I bet you it gets put on report, 2) I bet you it's in every newspaper in the city and 3) I bet you he cops a long stint on the sidelines.
No longer are we a game that rules on intent or carelessness but instead on reactions, it's sad.
I have a huge amount of respect for Robbo telling the boys to never lie down because they should be proud of the jersey they're wearing but I do wonder how much it's actually hurting us. I saw Skidsy get clipped high on Friday night but he got to his feet, that could've easily been a crucial penalty if he stayed down. In saying that you can't ask players to be soft and play for penalties and then play tough when it comes to the crucial moments in the game, it's a fabric of our culture now... we're a proud side.

Imo they can get ****ed if it's even a grade one. A grade two will see world war III from our end.

Sam Burgess will eye gouge and knee incidents is now going to the match review committee.
My opinion Semis is like SOO let it all go and get on with the job of footy. Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

It's not ideal we could probably challenge it, we are due some luck from the judiciary.
I still can't believe LOD got suspended. I thought he stopped Simona from injuring himself who contributed to the tackle by walking off the mark.

It would seem that the next level now is players jumping in and reacting to an incident so that the ref's have no alternative than to assume something bad has happened and that they must award a penalty.
