As mentioned Hoppa should be the target now it's looking like Stuart is on the way out at the Eels. No dickhead policy is working fine for us. Ferguson reminds me of Mason personality wise (except for that dopey press conference with Mundine the other day) and could have the potential to split the playing group, not worth it IMO.

Why wouldn't we want a player of this calibre.

Player of his calibre a big YES. A person of his calibre is a big NO. And that's the question. Player V Person.

You ever checked what a certain former ex-captain we had got up to in his spare time?

John, he is facing a pretty serious charge which if he is found guilty of the NRL will step in and suspend him.

I usually never play the moral card I don't give a shit what these guys do in their private time but where do we draw the line?

                We don't need this grub.

I heard what he allegedly did was touch some girl's arse.

He should keep his hands to himself, but if this is true and it is worthy of criminal prosecution, what is testicle-crusher Burgess doing still at large walking the streets? Why don't the police charge him?

Look I have heard from a cop friend and it's consistent to what's been reported that it goes a bit further than that. Either way he will have his day in court.

Anyway what happens if we sign him and the NRL steps in and suspends him for a year?

                    He just isn't worth it.

Then we'll wait for that day in court.

Is he too good to miss out on though? I can't remember him being a dick at the Sharks and Canberra for some reason just has a habit of dickhead players, maybe the change to Sydney is all he needs.

I think this makes him worth it.

                        Sign him up.

Not far off being the best centre in the game.

Players with the ability to score a try from nothing don't come around too often. I still think we are a quality back short and watching that video makes me think this guy could be the final piece in the jigsaw for us.

The thing about Ferguson is that the NRL hasn't seen his best yet. I think he still has another playing level to reach and it's going to make him virtually unplayable... the Lionel Messi of the NRL!
Just as long as he doesn't go to lol@souffs or Melbourne.

After that YouTube video I'm a fan!!!

His tries are all power, skill and class - no simple tries.

                              He is an incredible talent.

I say he has a hell of a lot in common with Andrew Walker. They're both supremely talented players with one problem. Alcohol makes them into bloody idiots.

I say we do two things, hire Blake Ferguson and stick him on the Antabuse. That stuff works like a bastard to keep you from drinking.
