Finals Week 1: Tickets & Seating

Like most on here I'm fuming that we've got a double header for our home semi-final and am dismayed at the NRL's and Greenbergs incompetence but going to put it behind me for the rest of the week and hopefully we can pack the stadium out with Roosters fans. There will be both General Admission and Reserved bays set up for JUST Roosters fans, so makes sure you purchase your tickets in the Roosters sections.

Season Ticket Holders

You should have received a letter in your e-mail with an AAN number which you'll need when going to ticketek to purchase your tickets. If you can't see it, check your junk mail or contact the membership team tomorrow from 9am onwards on 8063 3800 or 9386 3265.

At 8pm on Monday tickets for season ticket holders will close and it will open up to the general public on Tuesday morning. If you don't purchase on Monday you run the risk of missing out all together and getting the best seats.

Non-Season Ticket Holders

Tickets will go on season to the general public on Tuesday at 8am, however for Roosters fans without memeberships you have the chance to buy from 8pm on Monday night to 8am the next morning if you use the password SYD28600. Pass this on to anyone who's thinking about going to the game but doesn't have a membership...


Seating

There will be an updated seating map on Ticketek tomorrow morning with a CAT 1 section reserved for Roosters fans.

I believe the Chookpen will be sitting int he CAT 3 section reserved for Roosters fans which are from bays 30 to 22 at the Paddington End. Although Mario can you confirm this or any regulars of the pen can you confirm this?

We play on Saturday Vs The Manly seaeagles at 7pm

The Roosters under 20's will be playing at 1.30pm

The Scedule for the day is as follows

1:30pm - Watch Roosters Under20's
3.30pm - if you don't want to watch the 2nd game, we get passouts and head to fox studios
6.30pm - Watch Roosters Vs Manly

Ticketing and Seating.

When tickets are purchased on ticketek, you will need to enter your AAN that has been sent by the NRL*

*If you have not received your AAN, please call the Sydney Roosters Membership office, they will assist you with an AAN that you can use. (AAN's have only been sent to TICKETED MEMBERS)

Once you go to the next screen you can select "Roosters Supporters Seats"

You will then be taken to a screen where you can select the category that you wish to sit in.

Once you select your category, press "Get Tickets"

This will take you to the screen where you can select the number of tickets required. (Members can purchase up to 20 tickets per AAN, Please only buy what you require to ensure all members can purchase tickets)

You can then go through to purchase your tickets.

WHERE THE CHOOKPEN IS SITTING?

The Chookpen will be in Bay 31 which is category 2 seating.

Selecting this bay give people 3 options,
1) to sit in Cat 1 seating (bay 32 - 35) but still be close to the pen
2) to sit in Cat 3 seating (bay 22 - 30) but still be close to the pen
or
3) to sit in Cat 2 seating (bay 31) and be smack in the middle of Rooster fans

Please Be warned, this information does not guarantee a seat in any specific bays, this is for the information of Roosters ticketed members, be warned that bay allocations may be exhausted which means seating in another category or bay may be required

It appears ticketek have an option to purchase tickets for $20 in Bay 31 ONLY, according to ticketek, these are in VERY LIMITED NUMBERS, there is no indication where in the bay they will be located (front back or middle) and no further information is available for these.

Ladies and gentlemen, i hope this information is clear enough, it has taken alot of work from the club, fighting with a stubborn NRL, but they are fighting for us all the way.

I can only advise you all to be patient and calm when booking your tickets, in the end, we all will be there one way or another.

In a final piece of disclosure, this information has been sourced off the ticketek website and is correct at the time of posting.

I don't get the uproar, what am I missing? As a rugby league fan who supports the Roosters, I think what an awesome day at the footy watching two rooster teams play, and as a bonus get to watch another final as well. It won't mean anything to the players, they thrive on playing in front of bigger crowds, not to mention if they can't get up for final then they'll never get up. I just wish I lived in sydney, or alternatively had disposable funds to get down. If Sydney RUGBY LEAGUE fans are fair dinkum it should be a massive crowd.

could have bought up to 20 tickets with one friggen code number what a waste of energy trying to get all 14 of them
