JFC you are spot on mate. No good blowing up, it won't change. Get in,get your tickets, get to the games and cheer as loud as possible all the way to the gf. Prove all the doubters wrong, like EVERY club, fan bases grow when your winning and ours is no different. I mean the vermin have a real shit memory, they got booted out of the comp because they couldnt draw a crowd for nearly 15yrs FFS. No fans = no $$$

          Hey guys,

Saw the article in the paper and had a look at your forum. I don't understand the negativity for the double header. If you arent interested in the first game, then don't arrive to close to 7pm I don't think anyone is going to miss out. The members sale is now finished and there are still plenty of tickets remaining.

I am going and I think it is fantastic. I am a Raiders fan and obviously we have had an awful year but I am coming up to Sydney this weekend and plan on going to all four NRL and all four Holden Cup finals.

If you aren't interested in coming to the first game then just come a bit later. But otherwise you get a bonus of an extra final including seeing players like Thurston and Carney (although I know he screwed you guys over eventually too). There may be some that want to see the Roosters Holden Cup but those who get there for that are probably big enough football fans they would like to see another final.

I think you need to remember that finals are not home games but NRL events played at your home ground. When we had a final in Canberra in the last couple of years we couldn't get our own seats either. The signage is different, the NRL use those two ridiculous "comedians" from Fat Pizza and none of the normal home game experience takes place.

The reality is your team has no more or less chance of winning on Saturday because there is another NRL game that takes place before it.

If you think you are getting screwed over this week consider this.

            Roosters beat manly
            Melbourne beat Souths

Then Souths beat Cronulla or Cowboys

Preliminary final Roosters (minor premiers and week one winners) v Souths (finished second week one losers).

Who's home ground do you think they will play it at?

I should also add that one way this double header will work is that if most of the Cronulla fans leave after the first game lets hope the ushers don't stop people from moving around. Would be a bit silly to have some bays packed and some empty.

there is a very good chance that people who want tickets will not be able to get them.
Not only that, the tickets are more expensive.

                  SHOULD BE AT OURS!!!

You have got to be Mr Smith!!

I was somewhat subdued after the fantastic win last Friday night.

This and the double standards of the match review committee in relation to the JWH and Grub Squirrel Burgess incidents could occur in a monumental rant by the end of this week.

Agree that shouldn't happen. Mind you there were $20 tickets today especially for Telstra customers. I think mine was about $25 including booking fees.

No I am not. Just throwing up a scenario that is very possible and it will be interesting to see what they do.

Yes it will be interesting. If that scenario eventuates, I can see our club selling out for a few extra dollars and playing the Vermin in front of their hordes at ANZ. I hope the Roosters show some intestinal fortitude and demand that it be played at Allianz.

Most interesting I think the club will stand firm But the NRL will force its hand again

I thought if there were two grand final qualifiers in Sydney one was played at anz and the other was played at Allianz.

I guarantee that all of the left over fans will be booing us. No reward for finishing first at all. What was the point in that. And another thing, I feel bad for cronulla. Just say that cronulla finished first and we finished fourth, they wouldn't have a home ground advantage at all. It sucks that they don't use suburban grounds anymore. Sucking the tradition out of the game!

I could see the Cowboys beating them, then it'd be at Allianz.
