We played Manly in a double header that involved Cronulla was in 1977. We thrashed Manly that day 20-0, omen perhaps.

I was there that day. I remember we defended a lot of sets on our line without letting them in .... very reminiscent of some games this year.

If I remember correctly, the sharks played Newtown, when they had the NFL import Manfred Moore playing.

Bob Fulton scored the first try that day in his first game against Manly, It was great to watch.

Fairfax kept knocking their bombs over the dead ball line. It was Anzac day and the headline in the paper the next day was "Roosters in Anzac day blitz." btw I think the Sharks played Penrith.
