Who do you think will drop off our bench?

I would think Liu but the judiciary will probably change that...
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.

Not sure Cogburn. Before last week I would have agreed but Napa really stepped up and showed something last week. I like him as a 80 minute workhorse enforcer type of backrower.

          I agree Coggy.

Napa has done well but he will be better for the run next season.

Kennedy has big match experience and Liu has been solid all year.

don't be surprised if RTS doesn't play, Maubs to the centres and Guerra starts in the second row, if JWH is rubbed out at the judiciary O'Donnell will certainly start in his place.

have to feel for Liu/Napa if they are the ones to miss out if everything works out injury/judiciary wise.

Liu & Napa are the incumbents for the bench

LOD will slot in for JWH if unsuccessful & MK 18th man

If JWH is good to go

              LOD will replace Napa

Napa & MK injury cover for front & back row

Liu is the big improver with defense & has established good attack options with Mortimer

Kennedy was a problem last week. Gave penalties away and dropped the ball a couple of times. Liu has been great all year and it would be very unfair to drop him now.

it won't happen but if I was Robbo I would be very tempted to go for an all forward bench to try and compensate for the loss of JWH, I think Robbo wasted 2 interchanges on Friday night by putting Mortimer on in the 37.5 minute mark and pulling him in the 47th mark, when you consider the 15 minute half time break it really was a waste.

Manly are going to be the most physical defensive team we will face in the finals, they are experienced and relentless.

assuming RTS is going to be right I would like to see this team run out Saturday night

                  Mini
                  Tupou
                  Jennings
                  SKD
                  RTS
                  Maloney
                  Pearce
                  O'Donnell
                  Friend
                  Moa
                  SBW
                  Guerra
                  FPN

                  Kennedy
                  Liu
                  Maubs
                  Napa

Now JWH is out I'd start Liu with LOD coming off the bench.

LOD hasn't played a game in 3 weeks, Kennedy has played 1 and Napa is still pretty raw.

The first 15-20 are going to be very fast and physical and we can't afford to be behind the pace from the get go.

Liu has impressed me this year, good hard runner, strong defender and gets away quick play the balls.

I would definitely have Liu on the bench. He has been good all year.

Liu, Mortimer, Guerra plue either Napa or Kennedy. Tough call. I would go with Kennedy for the last spot given we will miss JWH impact. I thought Kennedy was very good last week and ran very strongly. Napa will get through more work but from what I saw last week, I reckon back row is his spot, and we already have backrowers that play big minutes.

I tend think Maubs will drop out, rib injuries take a month at least to get over....

                              You would think so.
