Manly play with a lot of structure and I think a lot of their plays are pre-meditated. It's rare to see them play off the cuff.

Keys to beating Manly are doing your homework, studying every set play they have so you know what's coming, the majority of their plays involve Stewart sweeping around the back so it's important we don't over read otherwise we'll be caught short. And the other is making sure we don't over-read Jamie Lyon, if he gets outside of his opposite centre 9/10 he'll set up his winger and the other time he'll score himself. You just can't give either an opportunity or they'll take it with both hands.

Key for us is our power game up the middle, plenty of offloading, strong carries and short interchanges of passing in and around the ruck. Even without JWH I still think we've got the slightly superior go forward game. This is where we'll win the game.
