I regret letting Symmonds go. Good utility value and a local junior.

Do you think Tom Symonds would be playing this week if he was still with the Roosters?

Probably not but I would have been more comfortable seeing him in the centres last week than Guerra.
I just think he offers a lot of versatility.

He certainly does, but Mitchell Aubusson can play in the centres if needed, and so can Aiden Guerra, as proven last week.
On the other end of the spectrum, I don't think Tom Symonds would provide the same starch in defence and aggressiveness in attack that his replacement, Luke O'Donnell, does.

Good old fashion footy player. Not many of those around.

            We have one in Maubs.

                  I think so.

He left to get a better opportunity to play first grade.

You can never have too much Fanta in the cupboard IMO.

Or the fridge, but then again some like it hot.

                        Ice ice baby, dingdingadingdingdingding.

I noticed on that Packer v Murdoch show the other night Fanta was Kerry preferred poison.

Not really on topic but I thought I'd chuck it in to make myself feel worldly and less nutty for my good mate, Shandy.

                          He looks like being available.
Tugun Seahawks are about to cut him loose.

                          Any takers?

Saw him and spoke to him briefly during the year at the Narrabeen Sports Academy. I said, 'g'day and up the Roosters, and hope to see you back there one day'. He just smiled and said, 'you never know'.

To go along with the other posts I've made on here in regards to me wanting us to sign Jason Taumalolo, I never got to see the sharks vs cowboys game on the weekend but saw the highlights and the stats.

The highlights showed Taumalolo scoring a really good try. Close to the line he is near impossible to stop, with legs like tree trunks he has loads of power!
The other thing I saw was he was the player who beautifully set up Linnett in the last 10 seconds of the game to nearly snatch a victory. If it was a specialist winger instead of Linnett it would have been a try.

His stats from the game were 134m from 12 hit ups (so he makes good meters every carry) and from only 40mins on the field. 1 try, 1 line break and 12 tackle breaks.

The point I'm making here is the guy can be a match winner for us, and imo he is the perfect replacement for SBW when he eventually leaves. Or even in the chance of SBW staying for years to come, still go ahead and get the bloke as he can be an awesome player for us, and he is that good of a player that you do what it takes to make room to get him!

As I have said before, Arona and Bosden are in our top 25 contracted players and they can be let go. I would be willing to let go of Guerra to get him if need be, but don't think it would need to come to that hopefully.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                                Here's looking at you, kid.
